They are going to tear down our dear Orem High building this summer to build a new one. WHY? It's such a bitter thing for me. No sweet. I'm so sad that Steph won't get to wander cross-hall at lunch, or see the painted bricks in classrooms all over the building, or dress in the same locker room as both Missy and I did for PE, or gaze into the courtyard at good old Rusty from a classroom while daydreaming during a boring lesson, or buy a juice from the lounge, or trip over the bump in the parking lot, or watch a play in the Little Theater, or build a chest in the same woods room I did...
It was a great place to go to school. It's 52 years old. I'm glad I got to be a part of it's history.

OH NO! Are you serious! That sucks! When are they doing it?
Well.. the Little Theater and Radio rooms are already gone, and as you can see, the front lawn is gone, but as far as the main building goes.. I'm not quite sure. I think It'll probably be down soon so they can at least start the new building by the time school starts up again.
i was so sad when i saw that- i wanted to take a picture before it was destroyed! but now i will be turning to the world wide web for that.
i cried for forty-five minutes when they tore the little theatre down! let's duct tape ourselves to the side of the building the day they're scheduled to demolish.
Julie. It's a date.
