So, I love the cello.
It's beautiful.
Not only to listen to, but to watch being played. I'd love to someday take lessons and possibly be able to play myself. But piano and guitar lessons didn't so much work out for me. I didn't practice. Hmm..
I think I realized just how much I love the cello when I saw Imogen Heap in concert a few months ago, and she had an amazing idea to let local cellists play the cello part in her (amazzzzzing) song, "Aha!" She held auditions at every city on the tour. How incredible would that be to play with her on her tour? The girl that "got the part" at my concert played beautifully. (Of course!) If you haven't heard the song before, it's great. Give it a listen. And watch some of the auditions if you're interested.
