so sleeeepy..

As you know, from one of my most recent posts, school has started and I am waking up before sunrise. I really am finding this difficult.    Really.    Difficult.     School this semester is probably the most exciting {design-wise} for me because I feel like I'm finally starting to get a taste of the life of a graphic designer. I'm currently working on a typography self-portrait, I want to post it now, but I think I should wait until it's finished.

I'm also working on roughs for a pin/t-shirt design for a real life competition with real life requirements. Awesome! Once I get them more refined, I'll ask everyone which design they think I should turn in.

Anyway, school is great, but I'm getting so frustrated with myself for not being able to wake up with enough time to make my mornings more peaceful. I'm always huffing and puffing and grumping and rushing around trying to get myself presentable. Rarely have I eaten anything for breakfast the last two weeks, and I'm starting to feel it. It's really tough for me to be going non-stop from the moment I wake up till about 5:30 in the evening. Then to go home and do my projects and readings till late at night. I need my sleep, and lots of it. But right now, I can't seem to get it!

Oh man. There's my rant. Don't feel bad for me. {You probably didn't.} I always feel like this at the beginning of a semester. I just like to rant sometimes.

In conclusion, these photos by Joetta Maue make me feel so nice right now.

So simple, so peaceful.
Now I just need to adjust my attitude to match.
{And to eat lunch.}

I had a 7:00 class one time... NEVER AGAIN!

Just remember the satisfaction you are gaining from your classes because, somehow, that makes it all worth it.

It is really hard waking up before the sun comes up. A few more months and the sun will be up with you. I'm glad that you have some fun things going on though.
