We finally got our hands on some tickets for the midnight showing of Twilight. You know, I can't say I'm super duper excited about seeing the movie itself. Because, of course, it's not going to be the story I pictured in my head. I am really excited to get dressed up and be out late with my family who love the books.
The casting just doesn't thrill me, and this is going to sound really mean, but both the leads are going to have to prove to me that they can act their parts convincingly. Don't get me wrong, Kristen Stuart is an amazing actress [Panic Room + Speak], but she's a little.. not Bella to me. And Robert.. He definitely looks like a vampire, I'll give him that. Ha. Okay, before I get too ranty.. I'll just say.. It's a movie. Hollywood has meddled and it just won't have the same tone or detail [or plot at some points] as the book. So I'm going into it with that mindset.
I was mostly groaning over the emo trailers [and if I'm honest, the flying vampires], but I'm growing fonder of them lately. Mostly because of this:

That's better! Not so broody.
To conclude: it will be a super fun night, and if the movie leaves much to be desired, at least I can read the books again! Really, people, I AM excited for the movie!

One Response to twilight tickets
I'm so very excited to go with all my sweeties, can't wait can't wait. I'm listening to Twilight and memorizing it HA. I think it'll be pretty good. It's going to have to be quite different from the book, they just don't have the time, nor can you put all of the thoughts into the movie. IT WILL BE FUNSIE.
