I had the opportunity to help my across-the-street neighbors by taking care of their brand-new premie twins while they got a little shut eye. They are amazing. I loved taking care of those sweet babies, and I had a wonderful time! I was really nervous about taking care of twin newborns, but I had no need to worry. I luckily have had enough experience with babysitting to know what to do and how to do it. (And their mom gave me some special premie instructions - so that helped, too)
Mostly I just love those babies, but I also feel progressive because I finally feel like I'm actually a member of the Relief Society! I provided relief! Haha. And the night before, I got to give them dinner. It's so true that service makes you happier! Well, I wish everyone a marvelous Labor Day! (Jon & Kate Plus Eight Marathon! Wahoo!)
